Behind the Camera | Bernice Palmer

I'm trying out a few ideas with my page and seeing what people are interested in. I love history and collecting cameras, so I thought cutting short documentaries exploring untold stories behind the camera would be a good place to start. In this first doc, I covered the story of Bernice Palmer.

She was a teenager onboard the Carpathia in 1912 when it rescued the survivors of Titanic. She had just received a Kodak No. 2A Model B camera for Christmas and brought it along for the fateful trip. With it, she captured some of the only photographs of the Titanic rescue. Let me know here or on the video if you'd like to see more stories like this.
