Kodak Rainbow Hawk-Eye Vest Pocket

(1931-1933) The Kodak Rainbow Hawk-Eye Vest Pocket is very similar to the Kodak Petite as both are variations of the Vest Pocket Kodak Model B, The Rainbow Hawk-Eye was made without the Autographic feature unlike the Petite. (Side note: There are versions of the Petite without the Autographic feature) I should also note that “Hawk-Eye” models were considered a premium version of the Vest Pocket camera.

This model came in black and four other colors: blue, green, orchid, and rose, all with matching colored bellows. The body has a crackle paint finish, and it uses 127 film.

Weirdly, something I’m trying to clarify on my end, I’ve discovered that there are models of this camera that look exactly the same except the branding on the front says “Vest Pocket Hawk-Eye”. I don’t know if “Rainbow” was included in later models, dropped, or it’s own model.
