Kodak Signet Series

(1956-1959)
The Kodak Signet series was Kodak's premier American-made 35mm camera line during the 1950s to early 1960s, designed by Arthur H. Crapsey. Positioned above the Pony series and below the Retina series, it included models 30, 35, 40, 50, and 80. Only the Signet 35 and 80 featured built-in rangefinders, with the 80 supporting interchangeable lenses. Most models used plastic, except the aluminum-bodied Signet 35, known for its durability and similarity to the Kodak Chevron.
